There are a number of different reasons why our fishing rods break. One of the biggest reasons they can break is because sometimes we put the rod at a negative angle. We do this when we set the hook, or flip a fish in the boat at the right angle and SNAP. There goes the rod.

Another reason why fishing rods break is because some anglers interfere with the way that the rod was supposed to bend. Interfering with the rods action cause cause to much pressure to be put on the rod in the wrong place. Which makes it break.

Another reason that rods break, some people just get a little lazy out there on the water, which can make them break as well.
